The Pearl Program
Delta Phi Epsilon strives for dedication, pride, and excellence as collegiate women. Our founders, the DIMES, developed a little something called the Pearl Program to ensure our members are well rounded and diverse. The Pearl Program is based on the 5 S's- Scholarship, Social, Sisterhood, Service, and Self. It was designed with the purpose of actively engaging sisters in each of these five areas by requiring the completion of 21 pearls per academic year. Sisters receive support from their S-coordinators and the Vice President of Membership Development in order to complete the program.
S-COORDINATORS Winter 2024
Scholarship - Nayeli Amoles
SCHOLARSHIP, because we are students. Academics are our chapter's top priority. We aim to enhance our collegiate experience by addressing educational concerns, career planning, and individual habits. Our scholarship coordinator organizes various workshops and provides opportunities to help develop our scholastic experience. Study hours, on-campus activities, and advising sessions are just a few of the tools we utilize!
Self - Gabby Hoffee
SELF, because we are about empowerment; the physical, emotional, personal, and spiritual development of individual members. We aim to make each sister feel comfortable and confident in her own skin. Our self coordinator reminds us that we all need a little time to focus on ourselves and relieve stress, whether that's cooking a meal, going to the gym, or trying out a new yoga routine.
Service - Emma Nank
SERVICE, because we aim to be contributing members of society. Earning service pearls helps expose our members to significant social issues and ensures our sisters make a positive impact on and off campus. Our service coordinator creates and publicizes local community service.
Sisterhood - Gabby Hoffee
SISTERHOOD, because it's not just four years, it's for life. We are constantly promoting friendship and support between our sisters. We strive to form strong bonds and create invaluable memories for our chapter. Our sisterhood coordinator is responsible for cider mill socials, spa/movie nights, and other activities!
Social - Emma Nank
SOCIAL, because we are members of the Greek community. Social pearls encourage sisters to connect with other organizations and build valuable relationships that last after graduation. A social pearl isn't just about mixers and parties, it's about putting yourself out there. Our social coordinator organizes events with different organizations on campus.
